Frequently Asked Questions.
-
We want to improve sleep, what methods do you use?I offer a variety of sleep support methods tailored to your family's needs, ranging from out-of-room techniques like spaced soothing to fully supported in-room approaches, which I call the "Comfort Ladder."
-
How do I know which package is right for me?Some parents know exactly which package they need, while others are unsure—that’s where the 15-minute discovery call comes in. During the call, I take the time to understand your family’s situation, expectations, and daily life before recommending the most suitable package. If you’re simply looking for routine tweaks, the 1-week email support is often sufficient. However, if you’re new to sleep coaching and your little one has deeper-rooted sleep associations, I usually recommend the 2-week support for more comprehensive guidance.
-
How fast can I see results? The timeline for seeing results depends on your baby’s age, individual circumstances, and the sleep coaching approach you choose. With out-of-room methods, results can often be seen within 7 days, sometimes even sooner. For more in-room and fully supported approaches, it typically takes 2 weeks or longer to achieve noticeable progress.
-
Do I have to stay at home during the support?I would never expect a parent to be housebound throughout our support journey. However, consistency is key when it comes to building healthy sleep habits. To help your little one establish a solid routine, it’s beneficial to prioritise naps in their cot at home in a familiar environment. Once we see consistent success with this, you can absolutely enjoy more flexibility, with naps happening on the move, at a friend’s or family member’s house, and other places.
-
What are your qualifications?I am qualified through The Sleep Consultant Academy (UK-based) and am currently completing my second certification with The Baby Sleep Consultant (Australia-based). These courses ensure that I am trained at a global level, equipping me to support families of all backgrounds, races, genders, and beliefs. My goal is for you to feel confident and supported, knowing that I bring well-rounded knowledge and a balanced perspective to help your family achieve better sleep.
-
How do I know if you will be a right fit?I am a firm believer in the power of routine and its role in helping babies and toddlers thrive. I know that having a predictable structure provides them with a sense of security, making them more receptive to sleep coaching. To support families on this journey, I offer a free 15-minute discovery call. During this call, we’ll discuss the challenges you’re facing, I’ll share insights from my experience and the methods I recommend, and together we can decide if we’re the right fit to work toward your sleep goals.
-
How long till my baby sleeps through the night? There’s no one-size-fits-all answer to when babies start sleeping through the night. Generally, once a baby is established on three solid meals a day, is gaining weight appropriately, and has no medical concerns, they may begin sleeping through the night around 7-8 months old. However, some babies achieve this as early as 8 weeks, while others may not until they’re toddlers. It all depends on a combination of factors, including your baby’s temperament, your parenting approach, and a variety of individual circumstances unique to each child.
-
How does the plan differ to what I see on social media? The information I share on social media is general guidance based on averages. When you purchase a plan with me, it is entirely bespoke and tailored specifically to your child and family. I do not recommend sharing this plan with friends, family, or even using it for a future child, as every baby and child is unique. The plans I create are designed exclusively for your family’s individual needs.
-
What happens after the support? At the end of our support, my goal is for your baby to be sleeping better than before and for you to feel confident with the tools and knowledge to continue supporting healthy sleep for months to come. If new sleep challenges arise, parents can book a 30-minute reassurance call with me to discuss them. During this call, we can address your concerns and, if further support is needed, we can explore the next steps together.
